'Three's a Crowd' Poster Print

Digital Print onto Satin 235gsm, A2 size

Originally a watercolour painting with pen detailing, this piece is inspired by the wisteria that runs like a frame along the sides of my house, and the peacock family that made our garden their home when I was a child. With a hint to Art Nouveau posters and their sweeping lines, this picture represents the settling feeling of a summer sunset.

I dont think it is a coincidence that my love of the shapes and symmetry of butterflies and moths has lead me to bow making. Shouldn't we all have a cute little set of wings of our own? My first collection of bows were created from 20 fabric samples that i designed in my first year of university, having lost the artworks and print files, i wont be able to replicate any of these designs again, making each bow completely unique.
