Born from the philosophy that we all have a 'Birth Flower' relating to the month we were born, generally mimicking what is blooming in real time throughout the seasons, I wanted to play with compositions and design some simple black & white line drawings that are a modern twist on scientific botanical drawings.

Botanical drawings have featured in a lot of my print designs and throughout my sketchbooks, my style has developed a lot recently, as I slow down and focus on the smaller details.
