During the covid-19 pandemic time stood relatively still for me. That stillness really allowed me to paint in a way that uplifted me, with ornate borders and seeping watercolours. Capturing the array of colours in the sunsets throughout spring and summer as a backdrop to these calming compositions.

The vines that frame each piece are a homage to the 200 year old wisteria that wraps itself around the outer walls and windows of my home.
